The UAH Public History program is an interdisciplinary minor designed for students who want to pursue public history jobs in historic preservation, museums, historic houses or historic sites, archives, libraries, art galleries, local historical museums, or in local or state government.

History majors will be asked to take relevant courses outside of History.  Non History majors can select from history courses and other electives.

Public History Minor requires a minimum of 21 semester hours, at least 12 semester hours at 300 level or above and must be taken at UAH.  No more than one 100-level class may count toward the minor.
