(French/German/Russian/Spanish)
The Department of World Languages and Cultures, in collaboration with the Global Studies Program, offers the Global Professional Pathways Certificate in French, German, Russian, and Spanish.
This certificate program provides students a clear path to combine foreign language study with experiential learning abroad opportunities such as intensive foreign language study, internships, and research opportunities. This combination will help students be able to integrate cross-cultural communication skills into their chosen careers and provide them invaluable skills to advance in their careers.
The requirements for the Certificate are sixteen (16) hours of course work and participation in a UAH-approved education abroad program for a minimum of four continuous weeks in a country where the target language is spoken as a major language. Students are encouraged to study abroad for at least a semester and seek to integrate an internship or research abroad experience into their time abroad.
