A focus on how to support literacy learning, teach struggling readers, facilitate professional development of reading teachers, and diagnose and respond to literacy challenges encountered by students.
Admission Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree;
- Hold a teaching certificate in elementary education (K-6);
- Pass the GRE/MAT requirements OR a 3.0 GPA Undergraduate GPA OR be tenured faculty OR have an earned master's degree;
- Must have 3 years of successful teaching.
